    Riga Motor Museum’s goal is to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable museum visit at any time. We care that the museum’s exposition, events and other services are easily available for all museum visitors.

    By fulfilling the reconstruction project a special attention is paid to physical accessibility aspects in the building’s interior, as well as different interpretations of the expositions content and accessibility for all audiences.

     

    Car Parking

    Located in front of the museum and free of charge our parking offers easy access to the museum. Designated parking spaces are provided for disabled visitors.

     

    Info Centre

    Located on the second floor in the entrance area in the Riga Motor Museum’s information centre visitors can purchase entrance tickets, obtain information regarding guided tours, exhibitions, events, services and other relevant information.

     

    Visitors with physical disabilities

    Riga Motor Museum is easily accessible for visitors with physical disabilities. Visitors using wheelchairs can access the museum’s entrance from the car park using a wheelchair ramp. Doors open automatically. All museum floors are accessible using a lift. The second and third floor can be reached using a ramp, appropriate also for wheelchair users.

    Restroom

    Restrooms are located in the entrance area on the 2nd floor. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are equipped also with baby changing station.

     

    Cloakroom

    Located in entrance area on the 2nd floor the cloakroom is available for visitors to leave their coats and other personal belongings in coin-operated lockers.

     

    Children play area

    Children play area is intended as a mini museum for visitors with kids under 7 years of age. Its a playful and inspiring environment for learning and leisure.

    Getting to the Museum - quick and easy

    Getting to Riga Motor Museum is easier than you thought. Here you can find relevant information regarding your arrival to the Riga Motor Museum weather your using your personal car or public transportation.

    A trip from the city centre to Riga Motor Museum using public transport takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. We recommend to use Bus Nr.5 as the busstop is just in front of the museum.  A drive from the city centre by car will take 20 minutes.

    By public transport

  • GUIDED TOURS

    Stories, vehicles, people.

    Riga Motor Museum’s visitors have the possibility to book a guided tour and experience stories behind each and every exhibit, discover a new interactive exposition, as well as temporary exhibitions taking place at the museum. The tour will take you through the history of the world’s automotive industry.

    Guided tours available in Latvian, Russian and English. Duration: approximately 90 minutes. Guided tour recommended for groups up to 25 persons. Guided tour price doesn't include entrance tickets. Tickets must be purchased separately.

  • MUSEUM CAFÉ

     

    A leisurely meal or a contemplative cup of coffee will serve as a well-deserved break after an exciting walk through the Museum exposition.

    Museum café offers also business lunch where the hasty ones can have a great meal at an affordable price. Our business lunch includes first and second course or a dessert.  The menu suits every taste and is changing daily.

    Useful information when planning your visit

    Riga Motor Museum awaits visitors daily from 10.00 till 18.00 o’clock. We recommend you allow at least 2 hours for your visit.

    Museum's entrance tickets will open doors to the largest and most modern automotive history exposition in the Baltics.

    Entrance tickets can be purchased on-site at the cashier desk located in the entrance area. Here visitors can not only purchase entrance tickets, but also obtain information regarding guided tours, exhibitions, events, services and other relevant information

    Visitors have the possibility to buy tickets on-line. Tickets are available at Biļešu Serviss trade points and e-store.

    Entrance ticket is activated upon entering the exposition. Ticket is valid only on the day it is activated and must be preserved till the end of your visit.
